All required forms must be completed and signed by your child’s pediatrician before enrollment. Per Maryland state licensing requirements, we are unable to administer any prescription or over-the-counter medications — including fever reducers and allergy medicine — without a completed Medication Authorization Form on file.

Highland Playschool uses Brightwheel to keep you connected to your child's day — even when you're apart.
Brightwheel is our school management and parent communication app — and it’s one of the things Highland Playschool families love most. Through Brightwheel you’ll receive real-time updates throughout the day including:
- Daily activity reports and milestone updates
- Feeding and nap logs for infant families
- Photos and videos from the classroom
- Direct messaging with your child’s teacher

Getting started is easy. Once your child is enrolled, you’ll receive an invitation to download the Brightwheel app and set up your family account. If you have any questions about getting started, contact our team and we’ll walk you through it.
